Project Scope: 3 weeks
Project Type: Sears Holdings
Activities: Design System, User Flows, Interaction Design
Tools: Sketch, Invision, Illustrator, Invision Studio
My Role
I played the role of UI Designer for ‘PantrySave’ creating experiences for iOS and Android.
I led efforts to create Design systems to deliver detailed design specs to engineers, conduct and own prototype handover to user research by addressing customer pain points and communicate insights and reports to higher management.
Challenge
I have been given Low-Fidelity Wireframes and high level user flows. And I have to create entire design systems; defining user flows and interactions, micro-interactions, visual design, style guide and prototype.
Solution
1. Started with background study, analyzing personas, AI and exploring latest trends.
2. Defined brand and created style guide.
3. Designed Visuals, interaction and micro-interactions.
4. Prototype.
User Flow
Based on the existing Low-Fidelity Wireframes and high level of user flows, I have optimized the user flows and converted into High-Fidelity Wireframes.
Interaction Design
Asking Permission
Engaging and contextual way of asking permission, where visually user able to identify the purpose and text details will give right context.
Sign-up
Once user filled correct email id in response, user gets the feed(color change) to click on CTA. Furthermore, Home screen comes up dramatically at contextual timings.
Bottom Navigation
It is an solution to keep the design minimal and informed. As when user click any of the icon then text will show up.
Home, Offers and Profile
Product details, Checkout and Payment
Outcome
The design followed with the prototype. Later it has been tested with the focus users and management for the feedback.
